Wanda asks:
In Outlook Express, is there a way to highlight several messages at once in order to delete them at the same time?
Answer
Yes, there is an easy way to either select all of the messages one right after another, or even every other message.

Holding down the SHIFT key while you click on messages will let you select all of the messages between the click-points. In the image below, I clicked on the first message, held down the SHIFT key, then clicked on the last one highlighted. Everything in between then highlighted on its own.

That works great, but what if you want to only highlight certain messages and do something with all of them, for example delete or move to a new folder. Then you can hold down the CTRL key on the keyboard while clicking. The image below shows where I held down that CTRL key, then clicked on the messages I wanted to highlight. I can now delete them all at once, instead of one at a time.
