Leonard Stoval from Panora asks:
I've taken your class on eBay selling and also on the photo management software Picasa. Is there a way to upload photos directly to eBay through Picasa?
Answer
The short answer is no, there is no way to do it directly. However, when you try to upload a photo to eBay it has you navigate to the photo you want in a very small and not easy to use window. You can take advantage of Picasa to make it easier.
1. Inside of Picasa find the photo you wish to upload to eBay. Right-click on the photo and choose "Copy Full Path".
2. Start setting up your eBay auction how you always would. When you get to the photo section, click on "Add a Photo".
3. Inside of the "Add a photo" screen, click "Browse".
4. This is where you would normally navigate through your folders and find the picture you want to send to eBay. Fortunately we've located the photo in Picasa and copied all of the information we need for eBay to find that picture. Right-click inside of the "File Name" section and choose "Paste".
5. Click ok. Because we pasted what is known as the "Full File Path" to the picture, that's all there is to it. Find it in Picasa, copy the path, paste it in the "File Name" section.
