Question:

Wayne from Onslow asks:

How do I clear/delete all of the past searches that appear when I go to a webpage such as Google?

Answer:

Internet Explorer uses a feature called AutoComplete to help you with past things you have filled in forms, just like the search box in Google or Yahoo. If you want to clear those past searches out of there:

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on TOOLS>INTERNET OPTIONS

2. Click on the CONTENT tab at the top of this window.

3. Click on the AUTOCOMPLETE button.

4. In here, you can clear the AutoComplete history or modify what it actually remembers. If you want it to continue to remember all of these things, but start over, click on the CLEAR FORMS button. Then click OK.

5. Click OK again, and you are done. In Internet Explorer 6, which these are pictures of, there's no way to clear out just some of the entries. It is an all or nothing situation.
